The purpose of our Adopt A Shelter feature is to publicize the good works of the dedicated, big-hearted cat lovers who give their love, time, and money to homeless cats. We hope to attract donations and volunteers for the shelters - they're almost always in serious need of both.

If you'd like to suggest a shelter to be profiled, we'd be glad to hear from you. Please talk to them before you propose them to us! Here's how it works:

The profile should provide a brief history of the shelter, its founders and volunteers, its goals, ambitions, and plans; its operations, and its needs. If there is a website providing this information, we can probably piece together the profile. If not, someone connected to the shelter has to write it.

Photos are necessary and should include the facilities (if any), the founders/officers, maybe some volunteers, and, of course, cats! See our photos page for guidance.
