My name is Little Betty Booper, but everyone calls me Booper. I have cerebral palsy. Don't feel sorry for me. I do just fine.

Christmas is coming to our house and it's a very exciting time. We have live trees that get planted outside after the holidays and we get to decorate the house and the Lemon Tree. Momma was a little sad at first, when she was getting the decorations out. Davey Jones used to be such a big help at Christmas and she misses him a lot. We had to play games and make her laugh. It wasn't hard, since we cats are so cute.

We helped to choose which wreath went on the front door and which decorations were put on the Lemon Tree. I was especially helpful with the large jingle bells. Momma held one up for me to see and I pawed at it. I kept losing my balance and missing it, so…I planted myself firmly in a seated positing. I focused on the bell in Momma's hand. I kept my head steady - no bobble head movements - and then I took a deep breath and launched myself at the bell.

I don't know who was more surprised, Momma or me, that I caught the bell in my paws and pulled it out of Momma's hand. She was so impressed that she let me play with it for a while.

I helped unpack the rest of the ornaments and Momma said that I was a great help. Being so helpful was very exhausting, so I curled up on the sofa and snuggled down in the afghan to be comfortable. I took a nap and dreamed about getting a new scrunchy and some catnip toys. I hope that your dreams are as nice as mine. Merry Christmas!

For those of you who have a holiday to celebrate this month, Happy Holidays! If you're not celebrating anything, then have a great December!

I'll see you in the New Year!

My name is Booper and I'm ten years old.

My name is Belle and I've had some exciting times. Aunty Susan brought in some flowers from the garden and I got to smell them and then carry them around the house. She said that I was making a mess, but I called it decorating.

I've been spending a lot of time with my Lemon Tree. It goes outside in the spring and comes back in before the first frost. Before Davey Jones died, he asked me to look out for the Lemon Tree, so now it's mine. I helped to choose the decorations for it and made sure that it felt pretty and loved. Even Lemon Trees have feeling, you know.

Farrah Beara, my sister, is feeling much better now. She wasn't eating because her teeth and gums hurt and she was losing weight. Now she's put on a whole extra pound. She has to go to The Vet lots of times for shots and medicine, but she doesn't mind. Farrah has been helping me take care of the Lemon Tree. She likes to curl up in its pot and meditate.

Mama showed me a giant jingle bell and thought that I would be interested in it, but I wasn't. She gave the bell to Booper and I got a Santa basket to play with. I enjoyed myself very much. Now the Santa basket is on the bookshelf with cinnamon smelling pine cones in it. Christmas is a fun time at our house.

Feloga

This month's Feloga (Feline Yoga) is more of a ballet move. You lie down on your side and stretch out full length. Place one front leg over your head with your paw curved daintily. Tilt your head back so that your neck is long and swan-like. Hold that position to the count of three and then relax. Roll over to the other side and repeat the exercise.

A note to all Humans: Have a great time with family and friends. If you're traveling, have a safe trip and don't forget to buy lots of good stuff for your feline family members.

I'll see you in January.

My name is Belle and I’m three years old.
