Lovely, lovely black-and-white boy. He spent the first three
days in my closet, peering out, wondering what the hell had
happened . . . didn't eat anything.

Hey, I have a new cat! Yeah, I caved. A very pretty
4-year-old male, neutered, declawed (he came that way, honest!),
and mellow. Amazingly mellow. Loves being rubbed. Was at a
friend's dad's house, but the dad didn't want him so she put a
notice up in their lunchroom. I saw it. I asked about him. He
was going to be sent to the pound (again), so I caved in.
Did use the litter box. Ran
back to the closet. So it's been about two weeks now, and he's
fine. Decided he likes it here, I think. Purrs like mad. Named him Obie-wan Kenobi - he's very gentlemanly. Very dignified looking. And I can just imagine him saying, "I was never here."
Miss Glory is 17 years old. She has been my faithful companion for 15 years. She really likes to lick my fingers. It’s a regular hobby for her. She will ask me for my fingers until I present them to her, then she will lick them thoroughly. She prefers the fingers on my left hand.
Tripod Jack is about a year-and-a-half old. I got him about 2 months ago. He has 3 legs because somebody shot him. Who would shoot such a lovable kitty? He is quite a character. He grooms Romeo quite violently. Sometimes he jumps on Romeo and chases him. Sometimes he lies beside Romeo quietly. Sometimes he graces me with his presence and lies in my lap.
Romeo is about a year old. I got him about a month ago. He has 3 legs because he got hit by a car. He loved everybody the minute he stepped out of the pet carrier. He is definitely a lap cat. Whenever I sit down, he is there like a shot, ready to lay in my lap and purr. He lets Jack groom him and chase him, and sometimes he chases Jack.
